How do I get started?

I begin with an in-person or virtual meeting to discuss the issue. I don't talk anyone into something they don't need; in many cases, simply talking through the issue reveals pathways to internal resolution. Frequently, the cost of this initial conversation is no more than a cup of coffee or tea.

How do you structure your fees?

If you decide to move forward, I work either on an hourly basis or under a deliverable-based fee model. My hourly rate operates on a sliding scale, ranging from $150 to $250 per hour, with the higher end typically reserved for philanthropy and corporate clients. Based on the scope, often informed by prior processes and stakeholder engagement, I estimate a minimum number of hours required.

What is the deliverable-based model?

Under the deliverable model, fees are set as a flat rate tied to defined phases of the work. In all cases, I prioritize aligning the engagement with the organization's capacity and budget and am open to either contract structure.
